    • It is a spiritual rather than a religious practice.
    • The word Meditation means “to centre the self”.
    • There are many different styles of Meditation.

    • Meditation is a tool for relaxation.
    • It is a way of tuning in to yourself.
    • It can help you gain greater self awareness.
    • Meditation calms the mind.

    • High levels of stress can create health problems:

    • insomnia
    • depression
