    Bonsais are:
  • 3. Origin Bonsais’ culture began in China, between 206 BC. - 220 AD. Bonsais arrived in Japan with the monks, around the sixth and seventh centuries.

  • 5. Longevity The oldest bonsai is a Pinus parviflora (alive since 1500) It depends of the care and the treatment.
  • 6. Cost It depends of the quality, the beauty, the rarity and the age of the bonsai. In general, a bonsai in pot costs between $50 to $500 000.
