Blogs<br />Could use services such as Blogger, Wordpress, etc.<br />Students can post “diaries”<br />Teachers can use for homework (Dr. Price)<br />Great for other user input<br />While blogs are a great tool, they may be becoming obsolete (How likely is it that someone signs onto blogger and looks for an Iowa Wesleyan College blog)<br />A similar idea could be implemented into our website<br />

Blog built into iwc website<br />Students/Faculty could log in with school email and post to a blog on the website<br />Could also comment on posts<br />Have a problem with campus?<br />Post it, and see how many feel the same way<br />Only registered faculty/students could post, however it would be open to public<br />Gives prospective students, parents, and alumni an idea of what is going on around campus<br />

Much more efficient form of blogging<br />Short and to the point<br />Students can voice quick opinions<br />Announce events<br />Updates in sports<br />Tweets can be directed<br />Twitter is no longer the future, its happening now<br />All organizations have Twitter accounts and IWC needs to make sure they take full advantage<br />
