    6. Egyptian Rose Origins: The Rose has been loved for its fragrance from Roman Times, when it was used in garlands, scented baths and perfumes, often in ostentatious public displays. Cleopatra reputedly carpeted her bedroom in rose petals to air her seduction of Mark Antony. Discription: The Damascena is cultivated in Bulgaria.The flowers are picked at dawn and the yellowy-brown oil is extracted within 24 hours.It takes approximately five tonnes of blossoms to produce just 2lb(1 kg)of oil-not surprisingly one of the most expensive in the world. Effects: A Aphrodisiac and mood inhancer
    7. Black Forest Rose Origins: The Greeks grew Black Forest Rose for use in their perfumes and herbal potions. They prescribed it as a medical antidote and to purge the system. Description: The amber coloured essence is extracted by steam-distillation from the fresh and dried leaves and flowering tops. Its Warm and slightly spicy aroma is often used in Masculine Fragrances. Effects: Warm, relaxation feeling
    8. White Orchid The ancient Egyptians incorporated the essential oil of orchid into their embalming fluids. The Greeks drank a herbal infusion of the petals after banquets to aid digestion. Effects: Helps fatigue and anxiety also a mood enhancer..

The name tangerine comes from Tangier, Morocco, a port from which the first tangerines were shipped to Europe .Lemongrass, the sweet scented grass was mainly used to season food in India. Its main constituent ,citral was discovered to be a strong ,cleansing antiseptic and used to deodorize clothing and footwear.     13. Jasmine Origin: An ancient favourite of the Arabs ,jasmine had a wide variety of uses including perfuming the body, scenting rooms and flavouring herbal teas. Discription:Its delicate white flowers produce a honey-sweet floral bouquet with fruity undertones.It has an intense rich,floral fragrance that is warm and exotic.
