      • Taking the form of a long, rectangular business card, conventional bookmarks don't satisfactorily fulfill the function for wich they were actually designed; lthat of marking the last point we were reading so that we may return there in another instant .
      • When one opens a book, the first thing one does is to remove the bookmark, as otherwise it would be impossible to access the text.
      • Quite often, we are unsure where to keep this whilst we're actually reading, therefore it is prone to get lost.
      • At times, it falls out of the book and we lose it even in the interior of the book itself. We rarely finish a book with the same bookmark we started with.
