PROCEDURES <ul><li>Entering the classroom: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Enter quietly. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Sit in your assigned seat. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Take out materials. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Look at the screen and begin the opening assignment. </li></ul></ul>A procedure is the way something is done. You have a procedure for everything. This classroom also has procedures.
  11. 11. GRADING <ul><li>Homework = 50% </li></ul><ul><li>Tests = 25% </li></ul><ul><li>Quizzes = 20% </li></ul><ul><li>Class Participation = 5% </li></ul>

TIPS: <ul><li>Passing my class: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>You WILL NOT FAIL if you DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Failing my class: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>You WILL NOT PASS if you DO NOT DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! </li></ul></ul><ul><li>You will NEVER stay after school or get a referral from me AS LONG AS YOU choose to do the right thing. </li></ul><ul><li>If you are absent, MAKE UP YOUR WORK! </li></ul>

WHAT WILL WE LEARN ABOUT? <ul><li>We will be starting with American Geography and ending with the Civil War. </li></ul><ul><li>By the end of the course, you will all have a wide knowledge of US History, and most importantly: </li></ul><ul><li>WHY HISTORY IS IMPORTANT TO YOU TODAY </li></ul>
