Then it will review the process of using the microphone to help with any troubleshooting. Finally, the lesson will provide series of procedural steps that result in the application of the microphone’s operation. There are three main pieces of microphone equipment: audio mixer, microphone and speakers. The audio mixer is an integral part of the microphone. So, Module A will be reviewed in the lesson’s beginning to reinforce the audio mixer’s concepts and process. Ending with a evaluation and feedback. Audio Lab Assistant
  10. 10. Module B, Lesson 3: How to use a Microphone Objectives Given an audio mixer, microphone and speakers, LWBAT correctly identify equipment and respective parts used in the operations of the typical microphone. Criteria: five-out-of-seven equipment parts will be identified correctly. Given a particular problem with sound from the microphone, LWBAT correctly apply process flow information of typical microphone equipment based on how an audio mixer, microphone and speakers properly operate together. Criteria: Two-out-of-three microphone, problematic, case-studies will be answered correctly with multiple choice questions. Given an audio mixer, microphone and speakers, LWBAT apply the correct steps to create verbal sound thru microphone equipment. Criteria: Verbal sound thru microphone will stay within range of 80-100% on the VU meter. (cannot measure without equipment) Audio Lab Assistant
