  1. 1. Miley Ray Cyrus (born Destiny Hope Cyrus; November 23, 1992)is an American pop singer and television and film actress. Cyrus is best known for starring as the title character in the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. Following the success of Hannah Montana, in October 2006, a soundtrack CD was released in which she sang eight songs from the show. Cyrus' solo music career began with the release of her debut album, Meet Miley Cyrus on June 23, 2007, which included her first top ten single "See You Again". Her second album, Breakout, was released on July 22, 2008. Breakout is Cyrus' first album that does not involve the Hannah Montana franchise. Both albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 In 2009 She created a new Album The Times of Our Lives. Cyrus also starred in Bolt in 2008, and recorded "I Thought I Lost You" for the soundtrack for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination. She starred in the film spin-off of Hannah Montana, titled Hannah Montana: The Movie which was released on April 10, 2009. In 2008, Cyrus was listed in Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in The World Forbes magazine ranked her #35 on the "Celebrity 100" list with earnings of $25 million in 2008.Her rank improved to #29 in 2009. The series focuses on a girl who lives a double life as an average teenage school girl named Miley Stewart(played by Miley Cyrus) by day and a famous pop singer named Hannah Montana by night, concealing her real identity from the public, other than her close friends and family. Season three of the series premiered on November 2, 2008 and is still airing as of July 2009. Hannah Montana: The Movie was released in theaters on April 10, 2009.   3. 3. The Wonder World Tour is a concert tour by American recording artist Miley Cyrus. It is her second tour and first to be worldwide and not include the fictional alter ego Hannah Montana. The tour was made to support Cyrus' extended play The Time of Our Lives. Presented by Wal-Mart and promoted by AEG Live, the tour takes place in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. The set list has material from her debut album Meet Miley Cyrus, sophomore album Breakout, soundtrack to Hannah Montana: The Movie and the extended play The Time of Our Lives. Venues were mostly arenas Cyrus' vision of the tour was more "wild" and "crazy" than the Best of Both Worlds Tour. She wanted to have a more a mature tour that was still accessible to all audiences. Cyrus' performance on the tour caused positive reviews from critics. Most stated that the tour was a good form of transitioning from Hannah Montana to a long-term artist.
  4. 4. Hannah Montana: The Movie is a 2009 American musical film adaptation of American teen sitcom Hannah Montana. The film was directed by Peter Chelsom with screenplay penned by Daniel Berendsen. The film was produced by David Blocker, Billy Ray Cyrus Alfred Gough, Miles Millar, Steven Peterman and Michael Poryes. The film stars Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, Jason Earles, Moises Arias, Lucas Till, Vanessa L. Williams and Billy Ray Cyrus. The movie tells of how popularity begins to take over her life. On the urging of Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana's father, Miley takes a trip to her hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee to get some perspective on what matters the most in her life. Filming began in April 2008, much of it occurring in Columbia, Tennessee and Los Angeles, California and was completed in July 2008 The film was released in theaters on April 10, 2009 in the United States and Canada. As the teen sitcom originated on Disney Channel Disney Channel premiered a teaser trailer of the film during their shows. Even though the movie was a box office success grossing over $150 million worldwide, it received mixed reviews from critics.
