This book is mainly about a normal school kid named Khalid who was abducted while he was in Pakistan visiting his relative.
He was accused of being involved in the demonstration of an Al-Qaeda event and several terrorism activities.
No one thought that he was innocent as there were evidence that he was involved. He was forced to a place where he was tortured and was referred as an ‘enemy combatant’ though he had done nothing against the government.

Months had past when the soldiers forced him to sign pages of confession and lied to him that he would be able to go home after the acknowledgement. Being naive, he confessed as a dangerous terrorist.
However, he was brought to ‘Guantanamo Bay’ prison instead whereby soldiers flashed him pictures of the September 11 incident.
That was when he realized that he had signed a confession of his involvement in several terrorism activities. He was locked for 2 years until the truth was came to light.

It is an absorbing story. (!)
The story is filled with suspension. Questions about whether the unblemished boy would be released kept flowing in my mind as I read the book.
From the book, I learnt that it is important to find out the truth before jumping into conclusion.
