The song “If It Makes You Happy” reached number 9 in the UK singles chart and won Sheryl one of her Grammy Awards for ‘Best Female Rock Vocal Performance’ in 1997. Sheryl Crow is now 46 and has recently released her sixth studio album called ‘Detours’. She has an adopted son called Wyatt. Crow split from her fiancé Lance Armstrong in February 2006 and was also diagnosed with breast cancer. She has now recovered.

Target Audience My target audience are females aged between 14 and 25 because they are females and the artist is a female. The song is very uplifting and aims to uplift people and evaluate situations. My target audience are at the age where they are making important future decisions and this song makes light of decisions which may help the audience gain perspective on their life.
