  • ENERGY INDUSTRIES COUNCIL NORTHERN REGION Invitation to the Northern Region Golf Day 4 - Ball Stableford Competition Thursday 20th September 2007 Woodham Golf & Country Club, County Durham Woodham Golf Club offers a course set on beautiful parkland with many challenges to belie its appealing, inviting location. There are a number of mature trees dotted around the course that pose a significant danger to any stray, inaccurate tee shot, also a number of water features which require steady club-handling and accuracy to successfully overcome. Measuring almost 6800 yards, you will require good stamina to get round the course and the par of 73 is a very good indication of the challenge that lies in wait over these eighteen interesting holes. Open to EIC Members and their guests The Golf Day will begin with coffee and bacon rolls in the Club House. Teams of four will play a Stableford competition, with the best 2 scores counting. During the round, there will be “Nearest the Pin” and “Longest Drive” competitions to test your skills. On completion of your team’s round, there will be a two course Carvery served in the Club House, along with presentation of prizes. **10 Teams Maximum – this event has been fully booked in the 2 previous years!** Information for Players: Dress Code on the Course – No jeans or trainers.
