• 1. Child Slavery By: Andrew Yeung
 • 2. What I know and why I picked child slavery

I picked child slavery is because I don’t like the fact that kids like us around the world have to work, get abused, hardly fed, and stay in a uncomfortable room with other kids.

What I only know about child slavery is that the kid is given away from their own parents or parent to work as slaves just to pay off a debt and the child that was given away is abuse as they work hard as he or she can when they are hungry and weak.

 • 3. How do people get child slaves?

Strangers that go to door to door can convince the parent of the child they take that they will learn, have fun, be more helpful around the house.

Another way is that the parents that have a debt to pay off they way they pay it off is from selling their child as slaves.

The last thing the strangers do is that they say a real place that is nice and expensive that their child can get in for free then take the child somewhere else to work as a child slave.

 • 4. What do parents do to get their child back?

The only way a parent that was tricked in giving away their child is to find the building the stranger toke their child in to be slaves, then when the parent finally found them they must pay a price to get their child back and the bill they must pay if food, medicine, and shelter.

 • 5. Why is child slavery bad?

Child slavery is bad since that billions of kids are taken away and used as working tools. When all of those children should be happily playing around with other kids. Since the child is being used as a slave only from a mistake the parent have done without knowing that the child will be abused and used for work.

 • 6. What I learned from this

The first thing I’ve learned is that parents only would give away their kids if they have to pay a bill or was tricked into giving away their child.

Never give away in a hands of a stranger that is old and that you never known in your life.

The last thing I learned is this slavery is still going on around other countries.

 • 7. A shocking thing about Child Slavery

The child slave will try to escape the place until they were tired and worn out to attempt another run away.

When a child is caught thinking and or talking about a parent they get put into a room with no air and hardly any light to see around them.

 • 8. My left over questions

Why are people so lazy to do things them self then use children as slaves to do the work for them.

My last question is that if that place uses slaves then paid workers wouldn’t that make them more broke since to keep slaves they must feed them and give medicine to feel better.
