“Is Social Media Overrated ?” Some data to aid the discussion

What’s the point ? The place is full of (very nice) presentations by (self appointed) “Social Media Experts” about the importance of social media. Do you think that some of those presentations are biased at all ? You bet! Should professionals have a balanced view ? Of course! So, here is some (unbiased) data about the trust consumers put into so-called social media to aid the discussion. Other than that, I don’t really have a point to make. I don’t work in social media, I’m not an expert, I don’t have any monetary interest in anything to do with it. Hope this helps.
