    • My school is in Metz, there are 1.500 students in it.
    • High school (called “lycee” in French) is just 10 th grade to 12 th grade.
    • You are always with the same people in all the different classes. (we call the “classe” the people with who you are)
    • We don’t have the same classes every day but every week.

    • Schedules are strange (even stupid sometimes…) We often finish school at 5 or 6’o clock.
    • You can’t choose your classes, but when you are in 11 th grade, you have to choose between literature career, business career or scientific career.

    • School is a lot harder, it takes more time, you have more homework and it’s hard to have good grades.
    • Teachers are stricter (some even are evil or not human…)
    • We don’t have any clubs or sports teams in school (it would be so much fun…)

    • High school is not mandatory, there are professional formations you can attend after middle school to learn a basic job (like haircutter’s formation etc.).

    • Landscapes are a lot different in France, we have a lot more rain so there are more trees and vegetation.
    • There is no open-area.
    • Cars are smaller in Europe.
    • Social system is a lot different, we pay more taxes, but health access is almost free. For example, braces are free in France. If you don’t work, you always earn 550 dollars by month.

    • A lot of people trust in god and go to church every Sunday here. In France, no teenagers go to church because there are no entertaining activities for them.
    • Roads are a lot larger and straighter than in France.
    • There are no Mexican people but there are Arab people in France.
