    • What are some effects that Aids has caused in Africa?

    • Why I chose this topic:
    • I chose this topic because there is a lot of interesting facts on aids in Africa and I wanted to know what people were doing to stop Aids in Africa.
    • What I already knew about AIDS:
    • Something I already knew about aids in Africa is that it’s the second most common killer.
  • 4. Did you know?
    • Nearly 6000 people a Day die from aids in Africa alone, that’s 21 million 900 thousand in only one decade!
    • Aids kills more people in Africa than wars, famines, and floods all combined.
    • Out of everybody in the world, kids in Africa cover 80% of Aids in the population and adults in Africa cover 70% of the Aids.
  • 5. Is Aids being put to a stop?
    • There is many groups of people that are going to Africa and trying to educate the Africans about how aids is spread and how they can help themselves stay safe and away from aids.
    • They are also trying to stop the spreading of aids in Africa by giving out condoms for free because many cant afford them.

    • Will their ever become a vaccine that can prevent you from getting aids?
    • Is it possible for a persons immune system to fight off the std Aids?
    • Was their a time when people were dieing from Aids but they didn’t know what the disease was?
    • How was Aids started?

    • Q. How much percent of adults in Zambia Africa suffer from the disease Aids?
    • A. About 20% of adults there have Aids
    • Q. How long does it take for HIV to turn into Aids?
    • A. It usually takes about 10 to 15 years for that to happen.
