The peacock

 1. 1. The Peacock
Peacocks are considered celestial animals, containing the entire cosmos in their tail (sun, moon, stars, and the planets).
To early Christians, the peacock symbolized immortality, resurrection, and the exchanging of the earthly body for a spiritually perfect body in heaven.
It is often associated with the Tree of Life and the Garden of Eden. It has been compared to and was once considered close cousin of the mythical phoenix, which engulfed itself in flames at the end of its lifespan and was immediately reborn from the ashes (think Fawkes in Harry Potter).
More generally, it means beauty, knowledge, omniscience, and perfection through the pursuit of a godly life.
Peacocks are a symbol of focusing on the positive in life — they are proud of their beautiful feathers instead of dwelling on their ugly feet.
2. 2. Contemplate the powers of the Peacock when you need more vibrancy and vitality in your life.
The Peacock can also help you on your spiritual Path, and breath new life into your walk of faith.
The Peacock can rejuvenate self-esteem levels too. If you’re feeling “blah” and blue, imagine the glorious, techno-color display the Peacock provides.
This puts us in a proper mood to embrace your own nobility. In no time, you’ll be walking tall and proud as a Peacock too!
The look and style from doing this is warm, chic and very sensational.
To ensure you create the beautiful bouquet you are looking for, try to match the flower colours to the contrasting colours found in a peacock feather and balance this with sharp white or ecru.
25. 25. Centrepieces and Table Décor: Sage green and teal blue linens will instantly produce a sensationally rich vintage feel. white chair covers with complimentary sashes or bows around the back of each chair. Centerpieces usually match the bridal party bouquets. Take the flowers used in your bouquet and include some long, tall individual peacock feathers in the vase and you have yourself a centerpiece as pretty as a peacock. Not only that, but you can also have small peacock feathers tucked into your napkins to finish your tables off beautifully.
27. 27.
Wedding Cake: Yes, even your wedding cake can take part in your wonderful theme. Although you may not want colour incorporated into your wedding cake, iced white feathers can provide breath-taking flair. This will outdoubtedly create a stunning wedding cake that ties in with your whole day.
