A Serif font is used for the masthead. But instead of simply typing out ‘the word’, it has been made into a design logo. Also, a button has been added over the title saying ‘Music magazine of the Year -Again’. This adds credibility to the magazine and will persuade the customer to buy the magazine. In the main image the models are looking directly at the camera. This eye contact draws the reader in and gives a direct feel to the magazine. The colour yellow has been used three times on the cover with the selling line ,the main Kicker and a smaller kicker. This is an accent colour that is repeated just like the other main colours of red and white and some black.
