      • Designing and supervising
    3. Where does the work take place
      • Usually in a office or factory.
    4. What are the working conditions?
      • Aerospace engineers spend most of their time working with computers, blueprints, and cutting-edge technology. They tend to work a regular, 40 hour week but may have to work extra hours to meet deadlines. The knowledge that many people are relying for their survival on the technologies aerospace engineers create can add a certain amount of stress to the job.
    5. What is the size of the occupation?
      • LARGE
    6. What type of training is needed to enter the field?
      • A bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering is usually the minimum educational requirement to work in this field.
    7. What can you expect to earn when you start?
      • $40,000 to $65,000 a year as a Engineer-In-Training (EIT).
    8. What are the future prospects of the job? Is the field growing?
      • Making $125,000 or more annually salary with benefits and retirement.
    9. What are the possibilities of moving to a higher position?
      • To move from a Engineer-In-Training (EIT) to a Professional Engineer (PE) you have to have 4 years of experience as an EIT, pass a certifying exam, and registration with state licensing board.
    10. How do you use writing and / or reading skills in the field?
      • Because knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involves writing and reading production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
      • The reason that I want to be a aerospace engineer is because sense I have been a little boy I've wanted to design.
