    The symbol for Magnesium is Mg.
    Magnesium is one out of the 13 elements that are found in living things.
    The atomic mass of Mg is 12 and it’s atomic number is 24.
    Mg’s group name is Alkaline Earth and it’s group number is 2.

    It’s Boiling Point is 2024.6 ̊F.
    Melting Point is 1202 ̊F.
    Also Magnesium has 12 Electrons, 12 Protons, and 12 Neutrons.
    The atom would have 2 electrons in the first ring, 8 on the second ring, and 4 on the third ring.
    The Protons and Neutrons would be in the Nucleus .

    Mg is classified as a Metallic.
    This element was discovered by Joseph Black on 1755.
    The origin name comes from the Greek word “Magnesia.”
