NGO's like Center for Science and Environment have self-acknowledged plagiarists who twist the facts and promote the agenda of their paymasters. Google for 'plagiarism'. Do the principals at these NGO's walk or take public transport? More likely - chauffer driven cars. Why is a religious Dan Church providing grants to CSE? How objective can CSE's reports be? India desperately needs economic prosperity so that we have enough wealth to feed and clean ourselves. NGOs with vested anti-national interests are always trying to make sure that doesn't happen, in the name of environmental concern. India produces among the lowest pollution in the world per capita. CSE should go after China, but it wont.

India should not allow major car manufacturers to shift their markets to India, India already has a pollution problem. India should focus on building an environmentally safe transport system like the MRT. Major car manufacturers are not concerned about the environment as much as making profits. In Europe the market shift is away from Diesal so why promote Diesal in another part of the world?
