  • 2. about     As a designer specializing in commercial and residential projects, Weiling has been working in the Interior Design field for more than 15 years. She works closely with her clientele, from design programming and initializing concept to all phases of design development and construction supervision. This clientele includes: individuals, small offices and large corporations, her portfolio demonstrates this diverse range of creativity. The expression of her inspiration is a balance between concept and functionality, her visions are conceived with spaces that are contemporary , fluid and always accentuates the unique characteristics of each client, as well as the site. Weiling was born and raised in Taiwan. She moved to California in 1988 and attended Art Center College of Design where she studied Environmental Design, graduated in 1992 with a BS degree. To further advance her education in design and architecture, after 3 years of design practice, she enrolled at Pratt Institute, New York, graduated with a MS degree (GPA 3.93) in Interior Design in 1997. After earning two degrees, devoting herself to competitive design business for years in Asia, Weiling has decided to move back to San Francisco Bay Area in June 2009. She’s now seeking for a new stage of her career and looking forward to meet people who’s willing to share great experience and vision in design.
