      • This is a presentation about whales. In this power point you will learn about whales. How they live and eat. So put on your sneakers and lets learn about whales.
    • Where do whales live?
      • Whales live all around the world. All whales live in oceans. Some live in the Atlantic ocean. Some live in the Pacific ocean. Some are in the Arctic ocean.
    • What do whales eat ?
      • The whale is the top predator in the ocean. They eat animals, which makes them carnivores. The whale eats marine mammals and seabirds. They also eat a variety of fish such as salmon, cod, flatfish, hake, herring, and smelt. They also eat other kinds of whales. They also eat seals, sea lions, walruses, and occasionally sea otters and penguins. Lastly, they may eat squid, octopus and smaller sea creatures.

      • There are many types of whales like killer whales, humpback whales and beluga whales. There are also southern right whales, blue whales, Fin whales, Sea whales, and Sperm whales .

      • Sperm Whales have the largest brain on the planet. It may weigh 20 pounds.
      • The fin whale is one of the fastest whales. They can swim over 20 miles per hour for short periods.
      • The blue whale is the largest whale. They may grow up to 100 feet and weigh as much as several elephants.
      • The harbor porpoise is one of the smallest whales. They grow to only about 5 feet in length.
      • Killer whales are the largest dolphins. They get their name because they sometimes eat other, larger whales.
