      • Basketball-the main piece of equipment in the game is the basketball, you use it all throughout the game. Object of the game is to to take the ball and make more shots then the other team.
      •   Uniform-Uniforms are used to signify who is on each team so noone passes the ball to the wrong person in the game.

  • 4. Evolution Of The Basketball
    • Traditionally, basketballs were made using a rubber bladder (like a very sturdy rubber balloon) sealed inside of a sewn leather case. Later, a cloth lining was added between the rubber and the leather to add strength. Today, basketballs are made of flexible plastic shaped by a mechanical mold.

  • 5. Polymers Have Improved Basketball By..
    • Polymers have improved basketball because now basketballs are made up of the production of hollow rubber bladders. Rubbery bladders are produced by a liquid polymer composition containing an epoxy resin. Basketballs now have better grip so players can hold the ball without it slipping away from you.

  • 6. Evolution Of The Basketball Uniform
    • The first set of basketball uniforms came out in 1920 when the game got competitive and more advanced, they had to make uniforms. Around 1920, there were formal leagues so they had to make uniforms for it. They first were made with quilted padded shorts and a wool jersey with the team's name. Nowadays, the jerseys are more advanced and have a picture on the front of the jersey and are made with nylon and polyester. http://uniforms-i.com/basketball-uniforms.html

  • 7. Polymers Have Improved Uniforms By..
    • Polymers have improved Basketball Uniforms by having synthetic material which is made from polymer. This helped them because now the synthetic material helps the players play more comfortably instead of how it was back then.

  • 8. Polymers In Our Football Field/Track.
    • A playing field surface is formed of a synthetic fiber carpet, having generally upright pile fibers, upon which is applied a particulate covering. The covering is formed of a lower layer of resilient, rubber-like particles such as crumb rubber, and an upper layer of relatively coarse sand-like particles. A binder material may be used for binding together at least some of the rubber-like particles.
