Ayman al-Zawahiri Zawahiri is thought to be second in command of Al-Qaeda. He is Osama Bin Ladens ‘Ideological’ advisor Originally he was the leader of the Egyptian Islamist Jihad, he merged the group into Al-Qaeda.
