Carindex Presentation

  1. 1. CarIndex CarIndex.ch is an app for the iPhone that gives access to the carowner data of all Swiss licenseplates
  2. 2. Paid and free version CarIndex comes in two version: a paid version (3.30 CHF) and a free version, which only supports two cantons.
  3. 3. Direct access to the plate When entering a licenseplate number, the iPhone user directly gets all the data of the car-owner, including his/her telephone number (when available).
  4. 4. All cantons supported All Swiss cantons are available in this app. For cantons that do not offer the possibility to find car-owner data via the internet, instructions are given for retrieval via sms, phone, e-mail or post.
  5. 5. Google Maps integration For all found addresses, a detailed Google Map can be seen from within the application.
  6. 6. Saved license plates All found licenseplates can be stored locally within the application.
  7. 7. Saved carowner details All car-owner details (name, address, phonenumber, licenseplate) can be saved directly with one click to the internal addressbook of the iPhone.
  8. 8. Help and twitter Within the application, an extensive helppage gives the user as much help as needed for using the app. An integrated twitter- feed will give instant updates on new developments regarding this application.
