    1. 1. The Third Station Jesus Falls the First Time
    2. 2. The Third Station Jesus Falls the First Time             When Jesus falls the first time, it is a humiliating experience.  It brings up the moral concern that sometimes; we put others down with our harsh words.  By judging and ridiculing others, we are nudging them, contributing to their fall.  Those people struggle to stay on their feet, to get back up, and many times can’t do it.  We need to come together and stop hurting others, so that they have the power to get back on their feet.
    3. 3. The Third Station Jesus Falls the First Time Psalm 31:11-12 11 Because of all my enemies,        I am the utter contempt of my neighbors;        I am a dread to my friends—        those who see me on the street flee from me.  12 I am forgotten by them as though I were dead;        I have become like broken pottery.
    4. 4. The Third Station Jesus Falls the First Time Reflection Jesus falls for the first time while carrying the cross on his long journey. He wore a crown of thorns on his head and was beaten by the soldiers. He was so weak that he could barely walk and he lost a great amount of blood. The soldiers, still, are beating him cruelly and Jesus continues to fall. Did you ever fall while you were playing, or fall when you were helping with something? Falling hurts no matter how you fell. Even when people make mistakes, sometimes they feel like their falling. Can you remember a time when you fell? As you remember that time, know that Jesus was there with you and He will always be there. You just have to believe and let Him know that you love Him and care.
    5. 5. The Third Station Jesus Falls the First Time I sat here one day and thought of my life. I thought of the people who live as they die. But then I thought of the people who don’t, The ones who cry and should sleep, but they won’t. They live their day as best as they can, Going along with their daily plan. I wonder what happens when they hit rock bottom, Do they lie on their back and wish life hadn’t got ‘em? On their knees they look up to a world full of hate Yet decide to get up though it’s all they can take. They wake up the next morning and don’t know what to do. People laugh at the things they go through. Instead of helping someone when they fall, We tend to look down upon them and act so tall. The sad part is it hurts us more than them, We’ve become so misguided that we can’t be their friend. So the next time you feel you’re falling apart, Remember the kid who gave up his heart. The one who fought through thick and through thin, The one who was on the outside, looking in.

    7. 7. The Fourth Station Jesus Meets His Mother
    8. 8. The Fourth Station Jesus Meets His Mothers As Jesus looks into his mother’s eyes, we can only imagine the disappointment in him he must be feeling for letting her down.   It is hard to live up to our parents expectations, and a lot of the time we resent them for it.  We need to be more accepting, to both be proud of our children and stand by them, and to understand our parents only want the best for us.  We forget that they love us, and we reject their love.  We have to be grateful for each other.
    9. 9. The Fourth Station Jesus Meets His Mothers Lamentations 1:12  12 "Is it nothing to you, all you who pass by?        Look around and see.        Is any suffering like my suffering        that was inflicted on me,        that the LORD brought on me        in the day of his fierce anger?
    10. 10. The Fourth Station Jesus Meets His Mothers Reflection: Jesus came face to face with His mother on his journey. Mary feels so sad to see Jesus suffering so badly. They connected instantly and Mary felt her Son’s pain just by looking into His eyes. They were both unable to speak because of their saddened hearts. Have you ever been sad? Being sad can hurt someone heart a lot, just like it hurt Mary’s heart to see Jesus in so much pain and suffering. Remember a time when you were sad and let Jesus help you. Imagine Him loving you. You can ask Jesus to help make your heart more like His. Knowing He is at your side will help mend your heart.
    11. 11. The Fourth Station Jesus Meets His Mothers Kids these days are under so much. Getting good grades, and such and such. We have this pressure to be the best we can be. We musnt let our parents down, you see. They want the best for us no matter what, So we do our best since that’s what they want. But what happens when we do something wrong? Are we forgiven, or looked down upon? We’re not sure what goes on in their head, When we forget to study or make our bed. When we forget our faith, and begin to fail, Do they pick us up and help us to prevail? At times when we think that love isn’t here, We look to our sides and see parents near. It goes to show that whatever happens, Parents are there through all the madness. And when we think we’ve let them down enough, It never shows, for they are tough. We may argue and fight and even discuss, But at the end of the day, they’re the ones with us.
