Modes O Day PDs+Fashion History

Paper Dolls have been a wonderfully visual way to follow fashion history and lifestyles while having a very good time. With this slide show, I have endeavoured to compare paper dolls and their art with the fashions of the time they were published. Some designs are painted contemporarily about fashions of the past. We have a wide representation here covering several hundred years of fashions with a focus on the early to mid 20th century. I am a paper doll artist, collector, publisher, and writer, having been published since the 1970s, and with major publishers since the early 1980s. Today I restore and republish paper dolls in the public domain for the enjoyment of collectors. Thanks you for looking, EnJoy! Love, Judy M Johnson
