II. Executive Summary
The purpose of this plan is to developing an innovative program that can assist the government
and the Big 3 automotive companies (General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler). The plan consist of
reduction in expenses, corporate employee salaries, review of union contracts, salaries and
benefits, car/Kelly blue book prices and a government plan to assist the Big 3 with their health
care issues.
Expenses:
Evaluate what expenses that can be reduced and how the company can turn some of these
expenses in to revenue.
Employee Salaries:
Evaluate how the employee salaries and how they have increased or decrease over the
years when the company has lost money.
Union Workers:
The review the Union contracts and look were adjustments and compromise can be made
to decrease the massive expense of the Union and create and save jobs.
Car Value/Kelly Blue Book Value:
Review the prices of new vehicles to inflation, price of vehicle to price of manufacturing
cost. Also review the Kelly blue book value of cars to see if this effects the way
individuals are purchasing cars.

Year 1-4: Reduction in cost of production of cars and save jobs.
Year 5: To create more jobs and reenergize the car industry.
Year 6-10: Return the Big 3 back to the top of the automotive industries.
