    • The British Columbia Excluded Employees’ Association is a professional organization dedicated to helping excluded employees of BC’s Public Service achieve professional success, through education, mentoring, and networking.

    • Government appointed “Management Advisory Committee” (MAC) recommends the establishment of a management society and registers the society on July 9, 1975 as the “Association of Managers in Government in BC” (AM)

    • The BCEEA actively facilitates the free exchange of information and ideas between excluded employees and government about their conditions of employment.

    • Lobbied successfully for salary and benefit improvements that met or exceeded bargaining unit agreements
    • Improved policies that mattered to excluded employees, including dispute resolution, salary protection and reimbursement for licensing fees
  • 11.
    • Achieved representation for excluded employees on the Public Service Pension Board of Trustees
    • Enabled exemptions to withholding tax for paid-out vacation carryover
  • 12.
    • Mitigated the impact of Bill 66 through improved accumulation and rollover of unused vacation days
    • Doubled the number of opportunities for excluded employees to present issues to government
  • 13.
    • Identified opportunities for improving the “Time on Line” time keeping system
    • Provided personal information and advice in the past 11 years to over 1,400 excluded employees re: work related and retirement issues
