    • Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and also the holiest place in Israel.

    • The Wailing Wall is one of the last remaining pieces of the Ancient Temple of Solomon.
    • People in Israel write a prayer on a piece of paper and stick it into the walls so God will read them.

    • The Temple Mount is a noble Muslim and Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, Israel.

    • Tel Aviv is a very popular city in Israel that attracts many tourists.
    • Tel Aviv used to be just a sand dune, but in 1910, David Ben Gurion and other Jewish people discovered the city.

    • Twenty million years ago, the Arabian peninsula tore away from Africa and the Red Sea was formed.
    • The Red Sea isn’t red, but the reason it got that title is because of the algae inside it; called Trichodesmium erythraeum. They seem to turn the blue-green ocean reddish brown when they die off.
