  11. 11. The Y Today<br />The Grand Traverse Bay YMCA operates its over 65 programs at<br />3 Facilities inc. 40 acre woods, 2.5 acre property, 1 rented building, and gymnasiums and athletic fields through out the region.<br />

  13. 13. PROBLEM #1:<br />40% of 7th graders can’t swim 25 yards to save their life or the life of a friend.<br />SOLUTION:<br />The New Y!<br />IMPACT: 2,000 kids in the five county region will learn to swim each year at the New Y!<br />

  16. 16. PROBLEM #4:<br />Youth obesity is on the rise, and regional health is on the decline.<br />SOLUTION:<br />The New Y!<br />IMPACT: 1,000 families from the five county region will enjoy new health & fitness services at the New Y!<br />
  17. 17. PROBLEM #5:<br />Teens need a fun, safe, positive place to grow.<br />SOLUTION:<br />The New Y!<br />IMPACT: 1,000 additional teens from the Grand Traverse Region will have a place of their own at the New Y!<br />
