    • What is hereditary disease?

    • Phenylketonuria
      • An autosomal recessive genetic disorder characterized by a deficiency in the enzyme hepatic phenylalnine hydroxvlase (PAH). This enzyme is necessary to metabolize the amino acid phenylalnine to the amino acid tyrosine.

    • Gausher ’ s disease
      • the most common of the lysosomal storage diseases . It is caused by a hereditary deficiency of the enzyme glucocerebrosidase leading to an accumulation of its substrate, the fatty substance glucocerebroside . Fatty material can collect in the spleen , liver, kidneys , lungs , brain and bone marrow

      • A group of hereditary genetic disorders that impair the body's ability to control blood clotting or coagulation , which is used to stop bleeding when a blood vessel is broken
