Just as God has communicated>various ways....now he speaks through the
expressed image of his Son found in Matthew 1: 2:

Event: Jesus: Holy Spirit Matt 1: Miraculous conception

Sign: Wise men came to him worship and bring gifts Matt 2:1, 2

Heb 1: Vs.3 says: Jesus was the express image of God.
Rom 11:33 how unsearchable his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

>Express image means: Exact representation/character/nature or being...
Bible says: No man has seen God at any time. Yet he [God] came in human
form. John 3:12 says, “If I have told you earthly things and you do not
believe…”

>Moses was God’s companion 40 days: voice/never face=figure. Yet he
wrote in Gen 2:4, “This is the history of the heavens and the earth...”

vs. 9 “If you see me, you see the father”

2. Heb 1 Vs.3 says Jesus upholds everything by the word of his power.
>He told:
• The winds stop blowing // The waves to calm down / Sun stand still
• The Atmosphere freshen up //red sea to create walls /River Jordan to
cleanse a King of his leprosy
And still you deny his majestic power? Have you seen gravity; its effects?
Then, you don’t have to see to believe! His Spirit keeps you alive...nostrils

Vs.3 says Jesus>Sat down…why?
• His superiority to the Levitical priesthood has been accomplished
• His job of offering himself as the lamb of God is done
• He has taken on the name of our perfect high priest and intercessor
Vs.4 Jesus is better than angels, why?
• He is the arch angel [creator of angels] Ezekiel 28:13>created
• Sits at God’s right hand // Eternal inheritance
• Name is above all name // King of Kings / Lord of Lords
• Angels answer to him and no one else
He is God’s begotten Son>through his death....Saviour, Lord and Messiah.

Vs.6 Angels & mankind worship Jesus...king of the earth & heaven

? Is Jesus worthy of your praise? ? Is Jesus worthy of your job?
? Is he worthy of your salary? ? Do you thank him for things you have...?
! Jesus is either Lord of all or he’s not Lord at all.

Vs. 9 says, Jesus loves righteousness and hates lawlessness. Pro 28:4 says,
“Those who forsake the law praise the wicked.”
Bravo! Adultery, fornication, divorce, rape, murder, incest, stealing, hate,
hypocrisy, lying, violence, all forms of lawlessness
Sinning is synonymous with saying cheers to all forms of Lawlessness.

Vs.14 Only “Companions”>close/associates/Partners>reign with Jesus
Jesus came to reveal himself to man>Restore>communication/our Habitat
? Had Jesus not revealed himself to man...man?
• Jesus wants to save souls... while man wants to save the animals.
• Jesus wants to renew this earth while man wants to retard this planet
from delving into an irreversible catastrophe
? Do you see yourself living...saturated with wickedness and violence?

3. ! Would you love to dwell on high with Jesus? Pipe dream>reality!
! Eternal life does not come by proxy. It’s a choice.

? Are you still looking toward Bethlehem’s manger in search of the baby
Jesus or are you reading John’s account in 1: 1-4 & Hebrews 1:2-4

? Do you only celebrate God’s Revelation to man on Good Friday &
Christmas Day when the masses are re-enacting his life burial &
resurrection?

! God imagined long ago that you would be here...
That’s why he wants to reveal himself to you through his Son Jesus Christ
by whom he expresses the power of his revelation.
