No, I haven’t considered the tax benefit of potential newspaper sales. The newspaper industry is so distressed right now that it is better to focus on the absolute downside / liquidation case and any upside is a plus.

have you considered the potential tax benefits they could reap if they sold some of their high basis newspapers, particularly the Providence Journal which was purchased for an insanely high price in 1997.
