Adult & Community Learning Services : Department of Education Community Engagement Project a project funded by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework and managed by Adult Learning Australia
The Framework’s Community Engagement Project is working to foster and embed e-learning within some of Australia’s most disadvantaged communities and strengthen the foundation of workforce skills.
The Community Engagement Project is managed by Adult Learning Australia (ALA) and funded by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework
The 2007 Community Engagement projects are:

Building Capacity for eLearning in Rural and Remote Communities
Aims
Build the capacity of Online Access Centres to support and assess elearners;
Enthuse communities to the potential for e learning - web2 technologies
Outcomes
Facilitate learning skills (with emphasis on e learning)
Development of new skills in web2 technologies and confidence as elearners
