  • 2. Early life Bill Rowling was born in a country suburb of mariri neighbouring the town of motueka, near nelson. he was a member of a long- established farming family. He was educated at nelson college at the university of Canterbury, gaining a degree in economics. Bill Rowling was born in November 15th in 1927
  • 3. - Baby in bucket is Bill and the child is Bills older brother.

  • 5. Bill is my great grandfathers nephew who was friends with my grandfather and still lives today. I would of loved to meet Bill, my grandfather and people who knew him said he was very kind and gentle.
  • 6. How Wallace Rowling became Prime minister and successful! Wallace was blessed with luck he spent 22 years in parliament he led the Labour Party for ten years and was prime minister for 15 months. But never won an election.
  • 7. Bill Rowling grew up with politics. His father Arthur was a foundation member of the New Zealand Labour Party and as a child Wallace went to meetings and saw virtually every member of Michael Joseph Savage.

  • 9. At 46, Bill Rowling was the youngest prime minister for this century
  • 10. Facts about Bill Rowling! - Bill died in October 31st 1995 - On 20 October 1951 Bill married fellow teacher Glen Reeves in the Waverley Anglican Church.

  • 12. Later in life After leaving politics Bill was appointed ambassador to the United States and New Zealand. Later after returning to New Zealand, Bill became highly involved in a number of community organizations and trust. He also played a prominent role at the museum of New Zealand.
  • 13. Sadly at age 67 Bill Rowling died of cancer in Nelson.
