    • Learn what sources Wayland residents use today to learn about Town issues
    • Learn what Wayland residents like and don’t like about how the Town currently communicates with them
    • Find out what Wayland residents want improved and get their ideas
    • Gauge interest in potential new communication services

      • 161 online
      • 35 hardcopy surveys (completed at Special Town Meeting in November)

      • The respondents are representative of those who participate:
          • Of 197 respondents, 150 said they attended all or some of Town Meeting while another 20 say they watched it on WayCAM.

    • The Town Web Site is used infrequently:
    • 77% of respondents only visit the site once/month or less

    • ..although 62% said they usually found what they were looking for.

    • Over half of respondents found WayCAM valuable, however 2/3 found it only occasionally so.

    • Of 194 respondents, 65% rarely or never watch WayCAM. ( 73 never watch WayCAM ;54 only watch it 1-2 times per year.)
    How often do you watch WayCAM broadcasts on TV? Survey Question: When they watch, 75% watch Town Meeting, Selectmen’s meetings and other Town Committee meetings.

    • A third or respondents are dissatisfied with how the Town communicates with them, while half are only somewhat satisfied
