  • 2. A Stable Food Supply Technology Government A Written Language Social Structure Religion A Highly Developed Way Of Life
  • 3.  Wehave many farms in America. We use the farms to plant crops and sell them to people. We raise animals such as cows and pigs for meat and milk.
  • 4.  America has come up with many ways to use technology. We have come up with computers. Now we can look up things on the computer for homework. We have come up with windmills to conserve energy.
  • 5.  InAmerica we don’t have a king or a queen because we feel we should have freedom, but we do have a President. Our President is Barack Obama.
  • 6.  We have a written language that is said to be the hardest language to ever learn. 82% of the United States population uses the English language. We have 26 letters in our alphabet. We basically got our language from the Romans.
  • 7.  In America we are almost the same as the Sumerians. We have the upper class, people who are rich and have luxurious homes. We have the middle class, people who are not rich, but are not poor either. Then we have the lower class, people who are very poor. Some may be homeless or may be in jeopardy of losing their home or their job.
  • 8.  Religion is very important to many Americans. The majority of Americans are Christians, but there are many non- Christian religions also, such as Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism. We celebrate our religious beliefs in churches, temples, synagogues, etc.
  • 9.  We have art museums with paintings and sculptures and statues. Music is very important to Americans. Music entertains us. Americans also love to go to the theatre. There are theatres where people act out plays. There are also theatres where people watch movies on a big screen. We also have very important monuments and buildings, such as the White House or the Washington Monument in Washington D.C.
