The Mediation Room.com Fully developed and operational bespoke software develop Small Claims Court Pilot * 25 cases * 2 mediators (1 mediator taking 19 cases and the other 6) * Claims of a value no more than £5,000 * Cases fully pleaded and awaiting final hearing * Mediation free of charge to parties * Report prepared by the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies * 48% settlement rate * 18 of the 50 parties responded to the survey questionnaire (13 Claimants and 5 Defendants)

The Mediation Room.com Fully developed and operational bespoke software develop Small Claims Court Pilot Values in the Cases The most predominant case type was contract/debt (16 cases) there were also 4 employment cases, 2 landlord and tenant disputes, one non-personal-injury negligence claim, one dispute described by the mediator as ‘relationship breakdown’ and one claim relating to damage to land.

The Mediation Room.com Fully developed Benefit of an Online Citizens Advice File System *All communications/documents available 24/7 to citizens. * A client facing application that does not interfere with existing data/case management and communication systems. * Advice given is on record and available to the citizen and Council officers at any time in the future thus minimising misunderstandings and repetitive communications. * Separate message areas for selected Council departments as well as areas for private notes. * Each Department can read, but not contribute to, discussions of the citizen with other Departments, and also to privately communicate with other Departments thus enabling officers to easily co-ordinate.
