Opportunities• Nowadays, where globalization increases more and more, georeferenced information is the most expressive and most universal tool to visualize on the Internet current status and events : geoportal• All the key users understand cartography on the web• GIS is the key area of the information society that will generate most new value-added applications and thus create most jobs in the next ten years in the rural areas 4 GRISI PLUS Launching conference
