  • 2. + Introduction  Genetic engineer or bio-engineer refers to a set of laboratory technologies that are being used to change the genetic material of cells and move genes across species boundaries to produce novel organisms.  What is a genetic modification?  GM is a special set of technologies that alter the genetic makeup of organisms such as animals, plants, or bacteria.
  • 3. + Hypothesis The tomato tested will have a positive genetic modified organisms (GMO) presence.
  • 4. + Objectives Detect the presence of genetic modified organisms (GMO) in the daily foods. Detects exogenous DNA in the food Aware the community about my findings
  • 5. + MethodGenetic Modified Organisms (GMO) Kit PCR
  • 6. + Expected Results Through the process of experimentation I expected to find a positive result of genetic modified organisms(GMO) in the food tested. Ifits positive I would make other series of test to find what kind of organism was incorporated to the food.
