    • 6Mobile Design and User Experience Overview Launched in May 2010, Your M&S mobile is a full retail site for Marks and Spencer, and as such represents the first large-scale deployment to the mobile web by a UK retailer. The site features the complete set of product ranges, account management and store locator. Strategy M&S had decided on a technology route for the site build, but requested New Toy to define a set of visual standards and design guidelines for the site that accurately reflected, and even enhanced, the world-famous brand. Results The site has been launched to very positive response, especially regarding its look and feel “...overall site design and navigation is excellent” eConsultancy
    • 7Mobile Applications• Thinking – Create a self-service account management tool for O2 customers (this is massively successful)• Features – Initially built using a screen scraping solution that removed vast amounts of integration time from O2 – Moved to a full API feed based solution when this functionality was made available by 02
    • 8Mobile internet + strategy Overview Rimmel’s media agency, OMD, asked MIG to develop a mobile strategy to provide fresh and engaging mobile content and keep Rimmel fans coming back for more. Strategy We designed a dynamic mobile web site that refreshed with their product release schedule every 6-8 weeks. Content included access to free samples, video downloads of Rimmel brand ambassadors (Kate Moss, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Lily Cole) how-to make-up tips, social content, application downloads and more. Results Over 40%of users on the site go on to download or register Over 1/3 of CRM scheme members return to the site monthly 145,000 downloads...so far Winner – Best Use of Mobile, Festival of Media, Valencia 2010

    • 11Retailers typically lag behind consumer demand for mobile commerce• Consumer demand for mobile commerce is ahead of retailer supply• 22.95m people (51% of UK mobile users) have bought via their phones• 26.55m (59%) have used mobile media such as apps.• Research by the IAB, AIME and IMRG found only 20% of the UK’s most popular retailer websites were optimised for mobile.• The survey also found that 16% of people are more likely to complete a purchase if the user experience on mobile is easy.
