Kamp Kiwanis “ to have fun, be safe, and nurture growth”

About Kamp Kiwanis Kamp Kiwanis is by owned and operated by the Kiwanis Club of Calgary and is financed through fundraisers and donors. The camp has been in operation since the summer of 1951. Located outside of Bragg Creek, the camp offers a 100% subsidized program for children aged 10-13 who, due to family or financial situations, would not normally be able to attend a summer camp. Every summer approximately 280 children attend Kiwanis. Not only does the camp offer a summer program, there is also Spring and Fall Outdoor school programs and the space is often rented out by various organizations. www. kiwanis-downtown.calgary.ab.ca

Kamp Dictionary Interesting phrases and words are often used at Kamp, here is a short list of terms defined: everything that normally starts with a ‘C’ is changed to a ‘K’ at Kamp!
