    3. Controllers
      • Instead of the classic gaming controller rock band uses peripherals in the shape of musical instruments
      • There is a lead guitar, a bass guitar, a drum set, and a microphone

    5. The Drums
      • Big circular pad

      • Foot pedal
        • With the correct resistance and speed of a real kick drum pedal
    6. The Microphone

      • Real time Rating
        • Rates singers on their pitch and timing
      • Percussion Breaks
        • By tapping the top of the microphone you are able to play the cowbell or tambourine
    7. Game Play Vocals Bass Guitar Drums Lead Guitar As the song starts the drums and guitar need to play the correct “notes” as they scroll along the screen in time to the music. The vocals are a little different; quite like karaoke the words are on the top of the screen and there is a line so you know the correct timing. Unlike karaoke though, your pitch is under scrutiny.
    8. Modes Of Play
      • Quick Play
        • allows you to play any song you have unlocked
      • World Tour
        • You play gigs around the world. When you play well you are able to gain fans, unlock songs, and win various items including busses and planes for your band to travel in.
      • Tug of War
        • You can face off against a friend by trading off playing sections of a song to move a meter in your favor
      • Score Duel
        • Once again it is a versus game in which each player plays the song in its entirety to earn points
      • All of the above modes can be play on one of four levels of difficulty
