What is a Green Dot Prepaid Card?
-It is a great alternative to using a credit card because you decide how much money you want to add to your card for purchases.
-It has some features that are similar to a checking account: You can direct deposit your payroll or benefits check and use it to pay bills.
-There are no overdraft fees. Other fees apply-see our fee schedule for information.
The card has a MasterCard or Visa logo so you can use a Green Dot Prepaid Card like a regular debit card.
-You canuse it to shop online, pay bills, and get cash at ATMs.
-You can track your spending by logging onto your online account

THERE ARE NO HIDDEN FEES!
Simple Fee Plan
Buying the Card
$4.95 to $6.95 purchase fee at retail stores plus an initial deposit between $10 and $500. Cash only.
No purchase fee for cards acquired online at www.greendot.com
Using the Card
$5.95 Monthly Charge. BUT...we will waive the Monthly Charge for any billing cycle when you load at least $1,000 or have at least 30 qualifying purchases posted to your account during a monthly billing cycle.*
Reloading the Card
No charge to automatically Direct Deposit your wages or government benefits.
$4.95 or less when loading cash at a retail store.
Using ATMs & Getting Cash
No ATM withdrawal fee at over 18,000 MoneyPass® ATMs nationwide.
No charge at retailers offering “cash back” with purchase.
At Non-MoneyPass ATMs and bank teller locations, $2.50 for cash withdrawals, plus any fee the bank or ATM owner may charge. $0.50 for balance inquiries.
Other Fees
$4.95 to replace a lost or stolen card.
$4.95 for second card
$19.95 for expedited card delivery
At merchants located outside of the U.S. , we will add a 3% surcharge to the transaction amount.
Optional services may also be available for purchase.

*Qualifying purchases include only transactions where you are paying for goods or services with your card, but do not include transactions on Online Bill Pay service or Teller Cash Advances.
