Cooperation
“ To work together in close association for a common goal”

We can understand cooperation from the Father and the Son.

“… My Father has been working until now, and I have been working” (John 5:17).
“ I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me” (John 5:30).

“ Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me” (John 16:32).
“ I and My Father are one” (John 10:30).

“ It is not good
that man should be alone;
I will make him a
helper comparable
to him”
(Genesis 2:18).

Compassion
“ A suffering with another;
hence, sympathy;
sorrow for the distress
or misfortune of another,
with the desire to help;
pity; commiseration.”

Lord, teach me compassion by the touch of Thy hand and the tears on Thy face.
Lord, teach me compassion for the sick and the sinner of every tribe and race.
Lord, teach me compassion through the truth of Thy Testament, final and complete.
Lord, teach me compassion, that I may receive it one day, when Thee I shall meet.

Charity (Love)
Varied: “Strong affection” …
“ A score of zero in tennis”

“ Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
“ Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her”
(Ephesians 5:22-25).

“ So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church”
(Ephesians 5:28-29).

AGAPE
“ The highest form of love:
the kind that extends itself to others based upon the value
of the object of the love”

“ bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness and longsuffering” (Colossians 3:12).

“ Love is sacrificial action.
Love always pays a price.
Love always costs something.
Love is expensive.
When you love, benefits accrue to another’s account.
Love is for you, not for me.
