Story-telling ReflectionMy Story is called In Hell. The Planning Phase:I chose to write a fantasy/adventure genre because fantasy is fun andinteresting. The most interesting thing about my main character is that hedoesn’t care but in hell he tries to break free for himself and the people whowill die.I didn’t enjoy creating the setting because Ki Jung and me hated thedark and scary place. While making my plot diagram, I found it difficult to get ideas from the one bigpiece of paper. My best idea during planning was to have a happy ending.Whileplanning this story I learned that life is very important. The Drafting Phase:It was difficult to write my story because every ones like different ideas. I amproud of my story because it was hard to get ideas but I did it.During theWriting Workshops, I became better at makewriting sentences that are better.IfI wrote it again, I would improve my story by including more interesting ideasof my own.The Digital Phase:I am proud of my movie because the audience will enjoy our movie.I found it easy to create the storyboard because I really knew the plot of thestory. My role was to be the script writer.I worked especially hard at typing inthe computer. The thing I am most happy with is my studying skill.Whilemaking the movie, I learned many new technology skills in iMovie. I becamemuch better at writing, too.If I made the movie again, I would try to make ahappy one.Collaboration:Sometimes, I enjoyed group work because Ki Jung and I liked the same things.Other times, I didn’t enjoy group work because Jake and Seok Chaedidn’tenjoyed KI Jung’s and my ideas. While working in a group, I learned how towork in-groups without so much arguingWhat else?During this story-telling unit I especially enjoyed movie making. After this unit, I might continue to practice narration.
