  • 2. What Are Rocks?Most of the rocks are minerals. Rocks can be put intothree basic types: igneous, sedimentary, andmetamorphic.
  • 3. What Are Jewels? Jewels are a precious stone.
  • 4. Fossils  Fossils are like made of stone.
  • 5. Sedimentary Rocks Rocks form when many small particles stick together. The particles might be rock or mineral chips. They could also be little bits of plants or animals.
  • 6. FOSSILS These are fossils. They are only found in sedimentary rocks.
  • 7. Igneous Rocks
  • 8. Igneous rocks are rocks that are melted down by heat under ground. Some rocks cool under ground while other rocks shoot under ground from volcanoes and become lava.
