The Lord’s Prayer (Mt. 6:9-15)
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Prayer of Moses (Exo. 32:9-14)
But Moses sought the favor of the LORD his God… Turn from your fierce anger; relent and do not bring disaster on your people. Remember …'I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and I will give your descendants all this land I promised them, and it will be their inheritance forever.‘ Then the LORD relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened.

When couples begin to do things separately and live lives independently from each other then the marriage begins to deteriorate.

When we begin to live our lives independent of God then our relationship with Him begins to deteriorate.
