    • Review 1) Federal Gov : National gov 2) Federalism : Splitting, sharing, fighting for power between state and federal govt 3) Limited Gov : Federal gov limited to powers listed in the US Constitution ( enumerated powers, exp: interstate commerce ), state gov can do anything ( but they limit themselves to their own state constitutions ) 4) Preemption : If federal govt is authorized by the Constitution to make a law, it overrides any conflicting state or local laws
